The majority of Kapri trees are old, at least 40 or 50 years. Inside Kapri is notable for its pale, pure white flesh. Typically each section contains only one or two seeds. The skin is relatively firm but the banana-rum interior is smooth and fiberless. Those who like bitter durians often, but not always prefer Kapri because of its alcoholic bite, but make no mistake that this is still a very sweet and fruity durian. It’s just different!
